PRINTING GUIDE
NOZZLE TEMP
We tested various temperatures for this filament, ranging from 190°C to 230°C, and we believe the optimal temperature is around 210°C.
LAYER HEIGHT
We recommend using a layer height no lower than half the nozzle diameter — ideally 0.28 mm for a 0.4 mm nozzle, and 0.48 mm for a 0.8 mm nozzle — to improve the material's volumetric flow.
BED TEMP
ReAcetate has excellent bed adhesion and doesn't require special precautions. We usually set the bed temperature to 45°C. If needed, rather than increasing the bed temperature, we recommend adding a thin layer of glue stick.
FLOW
We suggest setting the flow rate between 99% and 105% (0.99 – 1.05).
SPEED
We recommend printing ReAcetate at speeds between 70 and 120 mm/s, using a single speed setting for inner walls, outer walls, infill, and shells, avoiding sudden accelerations or decelerations. We've noticed that speed changes tend to stress the material flow.
MOISTURE
The acetate blend is highly hygroscopic, so we recommend storing the filament in an airtight container and in a dry environment. Before use, dry the filament in a filament dryer at 45°C for a few hours.
